I don't have to remind you all how sour the housing market is these days. Me and the fam sold our high interest house and took a bath on it in '06.
Well, it's our turn to reap. We bought a home AT 60% of value by a motivated seller.
I am so giddy, I wanted my friends here to see the new crib; It is in need of exterior paint and things, but the interior is very nice.

Here is the backyard;

....and here is my photoshop of a hot tub which I hope to occupy the backyard by next winter. Photoshop is fun!!!! Look how tacky the marble tub is in comparision to the working class "feel" of the surroundings. Greek columns anyone?

The house is/was owned by an old gay film-maker theater type who neglected the lawn. The house is the crappy one of the neighborhood, and I am told that the nearby residences are looking forward to someone who can use a weed trimmer. I still can't believe I bought a 4 bd 2 bath house in a good hood for 75K. I feel a little like a predatory buyer. Sackett is going to hate me for such a deal on principle alone, considering the cost of homes in Vega$.

Great work Ray, but everyone knows that zombies cannot live in the thin, higher atmospheres. The Mariachi band stays though.
